Tender N Tasty BBQ Chicken

I love this recipe. Mostly because its fairly easy , tender and moist and it makes the house smell heavenly . It's also a flexible recipe in the sense that how you season the chicken and the type of BBQ sauce can be changed up.

What You Will Need:

4 Chicken Breasts
2 Bottles Kraft BBQ I use Sweet Honey
Vegetable for Side
6 large potatos cut into equal pieces for pan frying.
1 McCormick fried potato seasoning mix

Preheat oven to 350 around 330-4 pm your time for dinner to be done around 5 or 6 P.M adjust accordingly for other dinner times.. You can also prepare this in a crock-pot by placing 1/2 bottle BBQ sauce in bottom of crock pot placing seasoned chicken breast on top of sauce and covering completely with remaining sauce and cook on low for 4-6 until tender enough to break apart with fork.

For oven baking you will want a minimum of a hour baking time but I recommend 1 1/2 hours

Place 1/2 BBQ in bottom of 13x9 pan

Season Chicken breast with Salt Pepper Garlic Powder and Herbs de Provence

Herbs de Provence is a combination seasoning that has lavender , rosemary , oregano,thyme,marjoram and parsly. I prefer Spice Island brand as it has less stick like thyme pieces. My chicken is never without this seasoning and I swear it makes it so much better than just pepper salt and garlic.

Mix remaining BBQ sauce with a equal amount of water and mix thoroughly.

Cover breasts with remaining BBQ sauce water mixture. Cover the pan tightly with foil. Bake for 1 - 1/2 hours . I promise it wont burn and you will be left with moist tender chicken.

I did Brussels Sprouts as my vegetable for this meal. I cut off the ends just a little bit , halve them then salt and pepper generously then pan roast in the oven for about 20 mins at 350 then toss with more salt and Parmesan cheese.

In the last 45 mins of cooking time peel your potatos , add 1/4 cutter or 6 tbsp oil to a skillet and fry potoats until tender add seasoning mix . Reduce heat and cover to keep warm.

Plate all food at once and Enjoy !!

You can use any vegetable you desire !

You can do Garlic Bread instead of fried potato's or another side like potato or mac salad, deviled eggs or sweet potato's with butter and honey!
